Graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1980, Wendy obtained her CPA, CA designation shortly thereafter.
Although she has been with the Stern Cohen team as a manager since 1990, Wendy transitioned to working on a part-time, contract basis with the firm in 1999 — ensuring she sustained her strong relationships with her clients while achieving work life balance.
Before her career with Stern Cohen, Wendy worked for three years at Clarkson Gordon, now known as EY Canada, and then for seven years at Balderson, Mielke & Co.
Wendy has experience working in various industries including real estate and engineering and has significant experience with investment companies and estates.
Raising her two sons and managing one of their hockey teams, while continuing to help build businesses as an accountant is among Wendy’s greatest accomplishments.
Wendy loves the outdoors and her family cottage in the Muskokas, recently taking up snowshoeing. Inside, you may find her attending one of Toronto’s great plays or concerts.

I’m always looking for chocolate in the office… especially dark chocolate!
