What’s the most rewarding thing about being an accountant?

The most rewarding thing about being an accountant is being able to work with and help so many diverse people and their companies.  It has allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills, and learn about best practices that make people and companies successful. Ultimately, our role contributes to the local economy and that’s rewarding.

What do clients appreciate about you?

Clients depend on me to not only help them report accurate financial numbers, but also for advice on how they can better manage their businesses. I believe in building a long-term relationship with my clients so I can accumulate knowledge about their operations over the years.  This knowledge can then be leveraged so we can complete our accounting engagements efficiently and effectively.

What’s different about Stern Cohen?

Stern Cohen is different in that it focuses on developing people from within.  Senior staff support junior staff so that they can gain knowledge and experience.  We are a strong team and we help each other succeed.
