Michael is truly passionate about collaborating with his clients, learning about their business, and being part of their team.  Originally from South Africa, Michael’s outgoing nature and can-do attitude is inspiring and infectious.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Michael chose a career in accounting after graduating from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management.  In 2012, he obtained his CPA, CA designation. Ever since, Michael has held increasingly senior positions at both large and small accounting firms. While specializing in the real estate industry, his love of learning has given him experience and expertise in a broad range of industries including:

• High Net Worth Family Offices
• Retirement Communities
• Oil and Gas Ancillary Services

Dedicated to providing top-notch client service, Michael advocates an innovative and full-service approach to accounting services. This perspective greatly meets the needs of both large and small private business owners, and high net worth families with large investment portfolios. Part of this strategy is to remember that every dollar matters! To that end, Michael ensures careful consideration of all applicable tax minimization strategies.

Michael is also dedicated to mentoring colleagues in the industry and helping them build their careers for the better.  He has truly appreciated the opportunity to make a positive impact and is proud of his CPA students’ 100% exam success rate!

After hours, you’ll find Michael spending time with family. He is also on the Board of Directors for Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda Synagogue. Over the years, Michael has transitioned his passion for playing hockey to golf – it’s a lot safer!
