Stern Cohen has a long-standing association with the University of Waterloo. In 1993, to celebrate the firm’s 30th anniversary, we established the annual ‘Stern Cohen Award’ at the university.
In 1998, we established an annual Student Award at Queen’s University in memory of our founding partner, Maxwell Stern and his wife Ruth.
Each year the partners and staff, often with the assistance of our clients and friends, undertake a special project to assist people in our community.
